Items we Accept and Do not Accept
Miracle Diapers appreciates many types of cloth diaper and accessory donations.
**Please note that we will use the items you donate in anyway we deem necessary for our organization. The majority of the items will be sent out to recipients, however, if you do not specifically note that you do not want us to use any part of your donation for fund raising purposes, we reserve the right to do so if needed.
Items we DO NOT Accept:
(We will give these away locally, however, we are volunteers, and it creates more work on our part.)
Gerber Prefolds (polyfil soakers)
Plastic/Rubber/Vinyl pants
Gerber (or other) Padded Training Underwear
Disposable items
Diapers in need of major repair (snap replacements are ok)
Diapers on their last leg
Please consider gifting all of the above to local cloth diapering families. Your tax receipt will reflect the value of your donation to our organization. We find that the lesser quality diapers do not last long, costing us as well as recipients more money in the long run.

Diaper/Cover Making Fabrics – PUL/Fleece/Hemp/Cotton/Etc.
Diaper Notions – Snaps/Aplix/Elastic/FOE/Size Tags

I’ve been cloth-ing my boys for 1 1/2 years. I use Gerber prefolds and Thirsties diaper covers. What’s wrong with Gerber that you do not accept them? Am I missing something? I am starting a cloth diapering service through my church and was planning on using Gerber prefolds. Any information about why I should not use them would be helpful. Thank you for helping me learn more and help others in our area.

Are the Gerber Prefolds that you use 100% cotton, or do they have Polyester as well?
The Gerber Prefolds that we DO NOT accept are the ones with the polyfill stuffing in the middle of them. Polyester is not absorbent. These types of Gerber Prefolds do not hold up as well and do not absorb as well as Diaper Service Quality (DSQ) Prefolds.
We’ve found, with them, that they usually do not last through the first recipient, and when we receive them back, they’re not in good enough shape to send out to the next recipient.
We do accept the Gerber Prefolds that are 100% cotton, as they hold up more like DSQ prefolds, and do not have to be replaced as often.
