Roxanna Jolly

Chief Executive Officer since April 2007
Chapter Manager 541

Roxanna was born and raised in South Korea outside Camp Humphreys - an army base at which her father was employed. She moved to the U.S. soon after graduating high school.

Her community service experience includes a residential program with AmeriCorps National Community Corps (NCCC), which allowed her to work in and around Washington, D.C. Her favorite projects were located in Kimberton, PA where she worked with adults with developmental disabilities at Camphill Village (founded by Karl Konig, who was inspired by the philosopher Rudolf Steiner of the Waldorf movement) and also at the Gesundheit Institute in Hilsboro, West Virginia (the future site for the Gesundheit hospital inspired by Patch Adams). Although the D.C. campus no longer exists, Roxanna feels it is kept alive by her commitment to service.

Shortly after her daughter was born, she stumbled upon the (then) Miracle Diapers website and started out as a Chapter Manager. She is thankful for the support of the cloth diapering community, as without it, she would not have been able to actively participate in the organization’s growth as its CEO.

With new direction, she is looking forward to continuing her advocacy with the Cloth Diaper Foundation.

Thanks to the Ford Family Foundation, Roxanna is also a full time student pursuing a degree in Human Services. Upon graduating, she will be applying to the combined MSW/Ph.D program at Portland State University.

Her ultimate goal is to serve in the Peace Corps. For the time being, she enjoys the challenges of being a SAHM and foster parent.
