Christi is a  single, Christian, homeschooling, mother to 5 children. She enjoys spending time with her children – Jacob 14, Chloe 12, Mya 8, Tira 6, and Joshua 3 – and she feels very blessed that she is able to stay at home with them.

She enjoys sewing,  soap making, and almost everything craft related. Christi loves to cook and is always looking for new recipes to try for her children.

She is a huge advocate for homeschooling, breastfeeding, babywearing, cosleeping and of course cloth diapering.  Although she hasn’t always done things the way she does now,  she is so glad she stumbled upon these things and she feels that she’s doing better for her children in the choices that she  makes.

She feels fortunate to be able to serve with

an organization that is able to help put cloth diapers on more babies.

Courtney Durfee is a happily married mother of one from New York. In addition to her work with The Cloth Diaper Foundation, she organizes the Hudson Valley Cloth Diaper Education & Support Group, a New & Expecting Moms Group and is also a Birth Doula in Hudson Valley, NY.

She is a graduate of The French Culinary Institute and Penn Foster College. Courtney started her voyage with (then) Miracle Diapers as a recipient and felt so strongly that it was great cause that she jumped at the chance to volunteer.

Heather Nerheim is a WAHM of two wonderful children and a husband currently serving our country in the USMC.  She  is the founder of Urban Fluff which was born in 2006.

She has an art degree from the University of Washington and she designs all of the Urban Fluff products, including the new iCandy Diapering System!

Heather is excited to be a part of The Cloth Diaper Foundation where, together, we are making a difference for families all around the nation.

Lisa has been involved with the cloth diaper industry since 2003 and is responsible for the DryBees and Wahmies line of cloth diapering products and accessories.

She resides in West Virginia with her husband Randy and two children, Zoe and Sam.  ”I live in a small town, but it is the third largest in the state, so family values are held very precious in our area,” she says of WV.

She attended West Virginia University to gain her masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology but as of 2008 left that career behind to become a full time business owner.  She has a small retail store where you can find mom’s who come to work with their babies in tow.  ”I had to leave my children in the care of others when I worked outside the home and I vowed I would never force another woman to do that to come work for me.  I have a moto ‘family is most important,’ and I live by it.”

Previously, cloth diaper users in her hometown had to travel more than three hours away to find modern cloth diapers.  ”What I like most about being a part of this organization is the feeling that we are reaching those that need us most.  I get requests every day for diapers from needy families and I feel fortunate that I can not only point them to a place for help but also assist with that help as well.”

Beth Flumignan is a work at home mom to her two precocious children, Ethan and Ella. She is the owner and maker of Cheeky Diapers and blogger on Sew Cheeky, a blog about sewing cloth diapers. Beth joined the Cloth Diaper Foundation because she believes every family deserves the opportunity to make the better diapering choice for their babies, their pocket book, and their world.

Sarah Butler is the mother of 4 children, all who were cloth diapered. She will be receiving her Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) in May of 2010 from the University of Tennessee and hopes to continue on to graduate school. As a mother of a child with Cerebral Palsy, she has a particular interest in children with Special Needs.

Angelica is a  SAHM/WAHM mom to a beautiful 15 month old little girl. Being a mother is her greatest achievement and she would not change it for the world.  She is currently in the process of starting her own online store.
